Our clinic
Kavram Sağlık is a clinic bringing together general dentistry, cosmetic work and orthodontics under one roof. We believe it matters that patients complete their treatment with the same team from beginning to end.
Every treatment starts with a detailed examination and, where needed, imaging. We set out the method, the number of sessions and the cost in advance, and reassess if anything changes along the way.

THE PROCESS
From the first consultation to the first-year review
In obesity and metabolic surgery the question we hear most is not what a procedure is called but what order things happen in: what comes first, where the decision is made, and how long the follow-up lasts. These six steps run in the same order for every patient; what changes is how long each one takes. The eligibility decision is made at the third step, and where surgery is not found appropriate, a plan still follows.

Initial consultation
About 30 minutes · Free of chargeYour history is taken, measurements are made, and the tests you will need are set out in writing.

Tests and imaging
Within a single dayBlood tests, endoscopy, any necessary imaging and, where sleep apnoea is suspected, a sleep study are arranged.
- 03
Multidisciplinary review
A joint decisionThe surgeon, endocrinologist, dietitian and psychologist review the results together; the eligibility decision is made here.
- 04
Preparation period
2 - 6 weeksThe nutrition plan is followed, breathing exercises begin and, where applicable, the process of stopping smoking is supported.
- 05
Procedure and hospital stay
1 - 5 daysThe chosen procedure, the expected length of stay and the discharge criteria are shared in advance.
- 06
Follow-up
First year and beyondReviews take place at one, three and six months and at one year; laboratory values are measured and the plan adjusted.
The duration and criteria of each step are set out in writing before that step begins.
